Gibson Guitars Go Down The Plughole.......(utube)

Gibsons Nashville factory/store has taken a beating with the recent Nashville storms and is under as much as 12 feet of water.........this is Opry Mills where the Nashville Gibson factory is situated. I used to live about 10 miles from here.....

The Opryland Hotel is in a similar fix i believe.....
The power of nature......

That's aweful, I was at that place in May 2007 and three weeks after we arrived home we had exactly the same catastrophic floods here in Yorkshire, just shows that we don't know what is going to happen next - who was it that said enjoy every day as though it's your last ?- it's good advice!

When we visited Nashville and Memphis in 2006 the Opry Mills Gibson Factory was only making Mandolins, Banjos etc. The guitar manufacturing unit is Memphis against the Museum of Rock and Roll. Both fabulous factory tours. Also the visit to the Rock and Roll Museum was well worth it. The new Grand Old Opry House is against the Opry Mills shopping centre so this will be affected
Best Regards
