Hi Guys

Sorry, took too much for granted!

The event is held in The Northumbrian Suite, Lancaster Road, Dunston, Gateshead
Tyne and Wear NE11 9JR.

The event runs from 12 noon on the saturday to 6pm and on sunday starts at 11am until 5pm.

The tickets are £9 for either day or £16 for both days, our chosen charity this year is
The Charlie Crowe Scanner Appeal for the Magnetic Resonance Centre at Newcastle General Hospital.
for Research into Alzheimers.

The Brewery is virtually closed but there will be plenty at the bar!

Hi Tony

Looking forward to joining the Scottish contingent once again for our visit to Newcastle. I guess if Mr Creasey isn't coming I won't need the whoopee cushion, treacle, baby oil and bag of feathers for the initiation ceremony.

Honest, Paul, if I promise *not* to wear one of my ties, will you come?

Hi George,
By all means take the whoopee cushion, treacle, baby oil and bag of feathers - it's just that you'll not be using them on ME!
I think me and SWMBO will carry-on a little further up the A1, and spend the weekend in our beloved Northumberland instead - it's quieter there, and we KNOW that the natives are friendly.
Regards
Paul.
P.S............if anyone IS considering a first-time visit to the Tyneside Festival - just make sure you take plenty of shampoo, shower gel (and a tin of Jizer), as it seems that you may well need it!

I shall be there staying at the same hotel. I have been practising my secret handshake and will also have one trouser leg rolled up. I draw the line at baring the left breast. Eddie.

Really struggling for accomodation for next weekend. Our usual berths are long gone - any ideas? (we wont be coming by car so being as close as possible is the idea).

Hi Malc,

How about Express by Holiday Inn which is beside Harry Ramsdens at Metro Centre, or the Derwent Crossing Travelodge at Swalwell. You could walk from both if you don't mind the excercise (Diane has done it from both). By taxi for a couple of quid.
Hope that helps

Tommy :D
