Thank you, Newcastle.

Another great week-end spent in the usual good company, thanks guys and gals.

The organisation and the bands were great, but a special mention to Legend. It's the second time I've seen them play in the two months with their new line up and they were great, much more relaxed and really enjoying themselves, keep it up guys and I hope you get many more opportunities to entertain us. ;)

There is some doubt as to whether or not this was the last annual event, I hope not (as I told both Brian and Tony), but if it is, a very big thanks to both of you (and your helpers) for a decade of great hospitality and organisation. I for one would miss the gathering as it's like a local club meet for me (it's only 140 miles away), so I do hope you continue or someone else takes over, thanks once again.

I can only re-iterate what my colleague from north of the border, Alan McKillop, says above.
Once again a fantastic Newcastle weekend and my thanks to everyone involved.

Hi Alan,

Good to see you again on Sunday and I must thank you for your kind comments about Legend.
We had a great time and certainly look forward to our next gig (whenever that is!!).

As usual the folks at the Federation Brewery made everyone welcome and it was good to see so many people in attendance.

Keep twanging

I posted earlier on the original thread but happy to keep all the comments together - thank you all at the Federation Brewery. Really good to see the friendly faces once more - and to lose so much at the tombola. Thanks again Tommy and all the others who make it all happen so enjoyably.

Sorry to be so late adding my twopen'orth. Just to say that Chris and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as usual. Great music (brilliant playing by all the groups - I do hope we haven't seen/heard the last of the Tyneside Surfers!) - and it is always a joy to meet up with loads of friends, even if we don't remember everybody's names.

I understand the problems and stress of organising such meetings but hope we can all meet up again next year.

Thanks to all and good luck to both the local Shads clubs for what ever you can arrange for next year.

Hope to meet up with some of you at Shadowmania.
