- and who's on vocal on track 4 - "Close enough for love" ?
If you really want to relax and listen to good music, buy this CD a.s.a.p....
- it's highly recommended, and you'll get it from Leo's Den.
Kon-Tiki wrote::P According to Cliff Hall's manager and Pat at Leo's Den, it's Cliff himself on the bass.
Believe if you will! Cliff is playing the bass in the bass cleff of the keyboard at the same time as he is playing the rest of the tune with his right hand!!
I think he could gain admission to the Magic Circle.

That's very impressive! As some of you probably know, brilliant bass guitarist John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin does something similar: he also plays keyboards and does the bass parts (quite basic, but effective) with the bass pedals live on stage. It's seems quite difficult to me to use both hands for a melody line and at the same time both feet to play rhythmic bass!

That skill is much more common than you might think. Most accomplished organists, whether of the cathedral or electronic variety, can do it with ease. I haven't played a gig at a typical northern (English) social club for the best part of three decades, but back in the 1960s and 1970s, almost every one of them had a resident organist who did precisely that thrice nightly on Friday and Saturday and five times on Sundays.
I sometimes work with a local musician who used to do a solo act playing guitar, singing and... you've guessed it... playing bass pedals with his feet!
