There was a feature in the Evening Times last week about a group of octogenarians from Pollok who have just released a CD. The accompanying photo showed one of them holding a Burns Marvin.

In the feature, they acknowledged help from some of the bands who regularly played at the community centre, including 'The Counterfeit Shadows'.

Anybody know anything about this band?

its gone kinda quiet in here despite all those replies. is anyone genuinely interested? I do a regular sunday nite job where they love the shads stuff. it would be nice to meet some other members there. all welcome
