A link for you

Postby Pierre TEODORI » 13 Sep 2010, 13:03

Hello,

For those of you who might be interested, here is a link to listen for free to my album "Influences" issued in april 2006.
Ten tracks were composed between 1976 (as "Citadelles")and 1984 and recorded in april 1985.The last six ones were composed between 1987 (as "Farewell My Lovely") and 2004. I played all guitars, acoustic piano and keyboards, bass and some violins. The drums were played by two friend who are sessions musicians. On "Argentine" and" Citadelles" there is a big string sections. I wrote all the tracks, except two that I co-wrote, and also the arrangements.
you can find the two tracks recorded by The Shadows in 1987 "A Heart Will Break Tonight" (written in 1978) and "Farewell My Lovely" recorded in 1989 (written in 1987).One track" French Rendezvous" was recorded by Barry Gibson on the album "One of our Shdows is missing" and Daniel Martin of the Foottappers, and two other tracks by the french young guitarist Matilda " My First Rendez-Vous" and "The Asian way" on her album "Get Moving" issued in 2005, and produced by Warren Bennett and Dick Plant.

This album is a tribute to The Shadows and John Farrar through my own music.

I hope you'll enjoy.

Best regards to all of you

Pierre

8-) The opening number on the Influence-album is "Stratosphere".
An amazing composistion such as "Farewell my lovely" an "A heart will break tonight".

Will you be on Shadowmania this weekend. Pierre ?

A shame you cannot be there, Pierre but I can recommend this beautiful cd of your music to anyone, the first track transports me straight to the side of the lake at Lakeside each year, it somehow "belongs" there.
A selected backing cd would be wonderful... please keep us informed!
best wishes, Rick
