Isle of Wight The Fabulous Shadows

Postby Ritchy Rich » 06 Oct 2010, 20:58

The Fabulous Shadows say a big thank you to all the islanders who came to the Medina Theatre on the Isle of Wight, who supported us and had an absolute Fabulous night out with us on Saturday 2nd October.

We are so sorry that Jet Harris could not appear and play with the band due to being in Southampton Hospital on Saturday, we wish him well and a speedy recovery , all the very best to Jet for his tour with Marty Wild starting on 7th October.

We will be back on the island 2011 and look forward to another great night out.
The Alzheimer's Society have passed on their thanks for all the money raised on the Isle of Wight.

Many many thanks to all who appreciate what we are doing...especially Cliff & The Shadows and lastly thanks go to Cliff for the invite to your 70th birthday party and the superb dinner and a great evening at the Dorchester hotel London....
we loved it.....

To clear things up here, last night I was with Jet at the Kings Theatre Southsea for the first show of 28 " Born to Rock & Roll" Starring Marty Wilde and his daugter Roxanne-- Eden Cane--The Wild Cats...............Jet said he had read this thread and was not happy about people posting on here about him when they have no idea what they are talking about, so please for his and everyone's sake keep to the truth, and if you are not sure you know it please do not make up storys....Thanks and back to the music !!

I'm over 'The Fabulous Shadows' and their cheap attempts to get publicity.

Last night I too was at the Kings Theatre Southsea for the first "Born to Rock & Roll" show.
I intended to post a review but this thread does not seem to be the correct place for it.
Otherwise it was a truly great night and, Derek, sorry I somehow managed to miss seeing you there!
