Jet Harris - Anniversary CDs For Sale

Hi Philip,

Thank you for your support.
If all goes to plan the book will include a CD of the two Fontana tracks, My Lady // You Don't Live Twice, all above board and licensed from Universal.
A separate Jet Harris CD will be launched around the same time and I'm currently tracking down several old master tapes from the UK and Europe.
Probably about 20 tracks starting with The Vipers and ending with 1980s/90s with some tasty rare tracks in between.

I'll upload details as and when it is available.

Plenty of copies will be available.

Please tell us about the backing musicians and singers, and the studio. This is a good album - well arranged, well-played and well-recorded, so it's a pity that there is no booklet, merely a single front sheet that lists the tracks.

This information from the back of the Jet Harris Anniversary LP. Jet's name was printed in gloss black on a matt black cover - so was invisible unless viewed at a certain angle. There was also a single released of Diamonds with a non-album B-side: Big Bad Bass from Texas (written by Muff Murfin).

It's a shame the personnel info wasn't included with the CD format.

Big Bad Bass From Texas is scheduled for the Jet Harris rarities CD I mentioned in an earlier posting, possibly remixed if Muff Murfin can locate the master tape.

Jerry Freeman was the drummer, formerly in The Applejacks, and a huge Tony Meehan fan.
The group took its name from Jet & Tony's third hit record.

Going on for 75 copies sold already, more stock due next week.
Lots of people had the vinyl but not a CD version, and others didn't know the album existed.

Burns Booklet - only approx 20 copies left now out of 300 printed.
