Ian

Delighted from your report that ir's been a succesful day at the Congleton Guitar Club. i know that Paul and June put alot of effort into running and sustaining the club.Considering what Paul has been through health wise, recently , it just makes it even more commendable.
Unfortunately I could not make it , due to business committments - which I won't bore everyone with!

Besr wishes

Tony

A big thanks to Paul & June for the warm welcome. Good to meet up with some more 'guitar nuts'. The area might be different for us but the love of the music is the same all over. Keep it going folks :P

Thanks to Ian and Peter for their kind comments.
It was, as Ian said, the best attendance since we started, which meant that we had to reduce the number of song choices for each player, but I for one, am not complaining. All future meetings will start an hour earlier, at 1.00pm, so we will gain a little extra time that way, and hopefully, a few less gremlins will help as well. Both Nigel and Kim had problems with the jack socket on their guitars coming loose (in Kim's case, the socket disappeared inside her guitar) and we also had a few minor issues as well.
I was asked at the last meeting if we could hold monthly meetings, but that would be too much for June and I to cope with, so it will be alternate months through 2011. BUT, if someone else wants to run the club in my "Blank" months, I will give them all the help I can.
The dates for next year will be posted in the "Club area" shortly, but we still have December 4th to look forward to in this year.
I hope that all who attended, from far and near, enjoyed themselves as much as I did (despite my almost terminal fatigue by the time everything was packed away at home) and I hope to see you all again soon.
PS. Thanks to all those who stayed behind and help me pack up. It is much appreciated.
Paulps
