The UK edition of the magazine has what appears to be a slightly different version of the article with only five tracks of the album being highlighted - Sleepwalk, Nivram, Blue Star,My Resistance is Low and Baby My Heart. There are also three tabbed examples entitled 'Get Hank Marvin's sound'.

Thanks for the link- very interesting..

I always enjoy it when the artist talks about each track like that- although often the motivation or methods, who played what, or their opinion of the various tunes etc is totally different from what you imagine...like when they are talking about your favourite track, and say 'I always hated that one!' or 'that track was just a filler as we didn't have enough tunes' or even 'I don't even remember recording that one'!

I remember just after Abbey Road was released, a DJ had John Lennon on his programme, and John was talking about each track as the DJ played the LP.

It amused me when JWL commented that 'Sun King' was the Beatles pretending to be Fleetwood Mac!

Feel a bit short changed... only 2 pages of text in the UK edition.
Mind you they did make a comment about the Beatles still honing their craft in seedier parts of Germany while the Shadows were topping the charts.
Pity some of the modern journos/ tv documentaries dont give them due credit.

Be nice to see Hank and Bruce and Brian do something on the lines of this and some of their other albums /work/projects ....documentary type discussion keeping their head above the wall still a great story to be told/continued these guys are so important with what they have done....sometimes not included in some media work ...WHY its all Beatles makes me spit blood...
