Good point.

So that's:

Exodus
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Slaughter On 10th Avenue (not a theme, but from a film)
Lara's Theme (recorded in a live version by The Shadows but not in the EMI studio)

...and what else?

The Big Country?
Born Free?
The Windmills Of Your Mind?

Any others for inclusion?

Blimey Clive! A Wolsey 1500, that was my first car in 1973 (Reg 367 RPG) it was 12 years old, so yours was ANCIENT.......Bought mine for a tenner and sold it for 15 quid. Used bits of galvanized trunking and fibre glass paste to repair the wing and the MOT tester said it would disappear in a cloud of Isopon dust in an accident!!!!! Great days.

[quote="drakula63"]I'll admit that I have always been a little baffled by the general opinion of this album. I first heard it back in 1981 as part of MFP's Paris Olympia/Sankei Hall double album. Personally, I think it's a great album.

Hi Chris
any idea Where i can get MFP's Paris Olympia/Sankei Hall double album on cd ?
is it still available?
it would be great to have a listen, especialy john rostills alternative bass lines

Hello Jay,

The extended version of "Live At The Paris Olympia" together with "'Live' In Japan" was most recently released on a French double CD in 2002 on the Magic Records label. It is still available via their website www.magic-records.com for EURO 22,-.

At this stage, the only way to replicate the MFP 2xLP release on CD would be to digitise a copy of the original vinyl or cassette release(s) of "Live At the Paris Olympia" (because the re-release on CD cut out the announcements), and to get a copy of the Toshiba CD for the "Sankei Hall" tracks (or use a vinyl/cassette copy as a source).

It would be nice even at this stage) to see an official re-release on CD of the original 1975 EMI LP, just as it was issued.

Jay,

The Magic Records double CD of Live at the Paris Olympia/Live in Japan is still listed on Leo's Den website at £15.99.
And, as stated elsewhere, the MFP record is not, as such, available on CD. Not that this matters, as the Magic CD is more complete and has got some great live photos from the Paris Olympia gig!
