Hi Jet,

best wishes from me to you and to your wife.
I never had the chance to see you playing live, but I've got most of your recordings and I listen to them very much.

Question to all Shadows fans : I heard that the group did a special fan concert as 25th anniversary concert back in 1983 or in 1984. Former group members had been invited to attend and Brian Locking played some numbers with them. Does anyone have more informations or even some pics ?

I also feel that past and former group members should be mentioned during the current tour but I'm afraid that the major part of the audiences wouldn't be interested, this opportunity was certainly missed during the 2004 / 2005 " Final Tour " when only Shadows fans were attending.

Hi Bob,

My brain must have blanked out Alan!

Also there was George Ford, Emile Ford's brother who played bass
on tour with them, another sadly departed musician.

Just a thought.

A nice thought Mikey, has been expressed before and will be again,it would be the decent thing to do. Throughout the World the fans know Jet was a major part of the early success on which this tour is based.

I can tell you from first hand experiences that once you are of "no use" to a particular group of people, and are no longer in their inner circle, whether they be employer or band members, you can be tossed aside and forgotten. I think they call them "fairweather friends" and there are a LOT of them about. Get well soon Jet, You don't need anyone but the people who are your "true friends".
