It seems that the main attraction at your club is the eating and drinking. :-)

Do you ever get around to any guitar playing?

No Ray. There be cobs, crisps, samosas, Fairly Cakes with icing on the top the consistency and tensilestrength of one of Alan Bakewells plecks, Grolsch, Banks's Best Bitter, the throwing of beermats to the resounding Huzzah of "Malcolm", much mickey-taking in general, the testing of defiled (or is that de-fretted) but otherwise perfect guitars, the repairing of amps etc, testing of renovated old gear (really - WHO wants a 40-50 year old Factotum anyway? Swap you for my much more modern Zoom2000  ). BUT - that Risky Phil keeps us all in line, makes us write our tunes in his School Exercise Book and and whips us (ooh err!) along if we are slow in getting on to Play our bits and bobs.
All in the best possible taste!! Er - not often!!
cheers

We may have other guests on Tuesday as well!

Speaking of old gear, I'll have the complete Factotum with me - amp as well.

Not working though!

This is true. If you come to the Hankies and forget your notes don't worry, we'll sing them for you to get you back on track. Mind you, you will have to sit on the naughty step afterwards - 1 minute for every year of your age, remember :o
(ex-guitar player) - now a ukulele and ukulele bass player!
Update: After 10 years absence, now a born-again Hankie
