Me too, though sadly not to my satisfaction. Bid for an AC15 Heritage head, was the only bidder, got it at a silly price, then the vendor decided it had developed a fault which prevented him from selling it to me... I had arranged a cash on collection so no money had changed hands, and Ebay failed to support me when I took their advice which was to take the amp complete with the supposed "fault"... so, no cash lost, but no amp either...

Thanks Keith, David.

Well there has been a resolution now in that the the seller did indeed send the guitar yesterday (only after paypal intervened on my behalf).
It's now stuck in the snow somewhere I presume, (last tracked at the main depot at Birmingham)

The seller now has the cheek to try to make me out as a disgruntled buyer who is trying to make him look bad :o
He's managed to do that all by himself, as it was 10 days after he promised despatch that he finally sent the guitar, and I received an email from him in the meantime saying he was broke & had no money to pay the courier !

So, paypal got this guy to send the guitar in less than 24 hours. Good result from paypal :)

Cheers

Dick.

Watch out for negative feedback Dick, if any doubts then get in first.

I've had this situation too, very annoying.

Hi Ecca

Sellers can't leave neg feedback now but of course nothing to stop them gobbing off under a +ve sign even though it doesn't affect feedback score

Not interested in feedback stuff with this guy any way

Cheers

Well finally got the guitar yesterday !!

The bridge is in a bit of a mess (floating rosewood) with quite a few different slots marked in it but I was able to get round it enough to make it playable until I can get a new one

Not very close to sellers description, but a guitar of (very) obvious quality that "cleaned up" very nicely with a bit of time & effort.

So....... paypal intervened on my behalf & it was dispatched within 24 hrs.
Good result from paypal & ebay that has pleased me & makes me feel more secure in any future purchases

Thanks to all who took the time to comment, I appreciated your input greatly.

Cheers

Dick.
