I'm sure that many Shadows fans are also fans of Johnny Kidd & the Pirates. I discovered last night that Mick Green's sons - Brad (guitar) and Lloyd (bass) have an amazingly good band carrying on the Pirates' tradition. Do look at the brief video in the media section and you will be amazed. Former long term Pirate Johnny Spence is on vocals.

Yes, I never got to see JK with the Mick Green line up. That must be near to how they sounded back then!
