New Year's Eve

Postby Rosemary » 31 Dec 2010, 06:51

Just a quick note to wish everyone a very happy and healthy 2011 and to thank everyone for their help with my guitar playing throughout the year.
I'm a little bit sad to see 2010 draw to an end as it really was one of the best years of my life - all because of THE concert on 18th February. I don't think anything can top that - well not unless the Shads do another tour.:)
best wishes
Rosemary

A Happy New Year for 2011 to Rosemary and may 2011 be as good if not better than 2010 for you. I would also like to wish all Members and our Moderators of Shadows Music and Friends of the Shadows and not forgetting Liz, Bob and all the members of the Devon Shadows Club a Very Happy New Year for 2011.

Thanks for the New Year's wishes and hope everyone is having a great New Year.
My resolutions are all to do with improving the guitar playing. At the moment I'm trying to re-learn some of the bits of the tunes I've already learnt e.g. double stopping on TFYL and Geronimo, the beginning and a few other bits of Apache as well as trying to master palm muting (still can't get the 1st string muted by the right amount). I'm learning Peace Pipe too so will make some recordings again when there's some progress to show. :)
All the best.
