Good to hear you are on the mend Bruce and like everyone else wish you well and a speedy recovery. I am sure it is a difficult time not only for you but your family also, and like several others on this site I have been through very serious operations and am aware of the impact this can have. One of the thing that has kept me going and made me determined to recover is Shadows music and we all can thank you for keeping it alive and well. Thankyou and take care

Thanks for giving us the good news David!
Bruce, I've often heard you refer to us as the 'Shadows Family'. Well, that's what we are and we're all here for you. It's good to know you're on the mend so get well soon.
Best wishes

Just a few more words to Bruce, his Family and all friends on this site.

I honestly doubt that ANYONE of us in this forum would ever dream of intruding on the privacy of neither Bruce nor his family or close friends.

We are not semi-hysterical 12 year olds, ready to besiege his home or set up a makeshift camp outside the hospital, demanding medical
bulletins every hour thus desturbing his recovery.

Some of you (lucky bastards) have direct access to him and his family, so please tell them that we will nor disturb, but we are anxious to know.

Three years ago my wife and I were struck by the most horrible thing that any parent may experience (and Bruce has also lost a child): the
suicide of our 25 year-old daughter, and had it not been for friends (close and, surprisingly) NOT so close (epecially not forgetting this forum),
we would never have made it as far as we have.

I am convinvinced that neither Bruce nor his family will NOT consider it an intrusion of their privacy if we, close and not-so-close friends and fans,
wish him and his family all the best for many. many years to come and, should I be wrong, I am truly sorry.

Take care Bruce!!!

All the best Bruce, get well soon.

I reckon Bruce is having an MOT in his seventieth year to prepare for The Shadows' Final Tour of 2012, 2014, 2016 and beyond.
