David,

You never cease to amaze us with your font of information - nice gesture to commemorate the 50th Anniversary tour and for Hank to actually use the strat during the tour.

Hmm!

Now how do you print a newspaper article on a Stratocaster!

Interesting info about the 'white' Strat!! I hadn't realised it was a limited edition, and I would guess that it may have had the bottom string de-tuned as suggested, hence the 'honk' by 'Hank'!!!... that I referred to in my earlier post. Incidentally Bob, you were right the first time re 'Bungleflint'- the Lord etc. etc comes from a much earlier thread on the old MSN site when things got extremely silly!! Incidentally, I still have a large pedal board- some think it's just the way I walk....!! ;)

Hi Amanda, Bob & Maurice

Thanks for the confirmation of the white Strat.

The fret buzz/rattle is evident on the Album track C'mon everybody. I listened to it on my iPod several times to be sure (to be sure ;) ).
It's where Bruce plays the D G A D chords with Mark following on bass during the intro's to the verses. Hank comes in the last time before the vocals with what sounds like 5th open A/5th 3rd fret C/5th open A /4th D string F 3rd fret bent up a smidgeon then either open 6th string detuned to D or strummed open D(6th string) open A/ open D (where there seems to be fret rattle or buzz on the 6th string)

Phew easier to play than write!!!!!

Great pictures Richard. They all look so cheerful and contented. There is no doubt about it. They really like what they are doing.
That's why the concerts are so great, that you feel it's over too fast. 3 hours disappear like a snap.
