A sad loss indeed, I remember an interview some years back when he told of getting his first guitar and the first tune he rehearsed/practised, was Wonderful Land. RIP.

Dont know what he's been doing with it but he's got it in some mess. Maybe an Irish guitarsts thing, Rory Gallaghers was like this too :)
I watch this with quite an amount of sadness knowing I'll never see him playing again :(

I remember seeing Gary way back in 1971 in a three piece band called Skid Row at The Wintergardens, Penzance, Cornwall.
He was a brilliant guitarist even then.

I saw Gary at the Albert Hall in the nineties and George Harrison came and jammed a couple of numbers with him including 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' with Gary doing the Clapton bit - just amazing. Well I weep for both of these guys who were taken from us far too early. And, I've just realised - they were both 58 when they died...

Martin.

Such a sad loss.
I saw Gary in concert in Grimsby about two years back and he was just brilliant.
I came home ready to burn my guitars, his speed and touch was amazing.

Check out his beautiful instrumental track entitled 'The Loner'.
I prefer it to 'Parisienne Walkways' and I wished The Shads had covered it.
A wonderful tune that gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it.

RIP

Guitar legend Gary Moore died of a suspected heart attack, according to a preliminary postmortem examination.

Sad news for the music world Gary was a true legend and will be greatly missed so glad I got to see him play live a couple of times. Just wish I could get my fingers to move 1/10th of the speed his moved at. An absolute genious on a guitar and a very friendly guy
