Hi All

I saw Alan Winship (3rd from right) last night and he has asked me to post the following information.

This photo was taken of 'The Ramparts Skiffle Group' on Saturday 11th May 1957 at the Berwick Assembly Rooms, Gateshead where they were supporting the resident dance band.

The correct line up in the photo is as follows

I finally caught up with Alan again last night and passed on your request. He said all he had was a copy of the photo which was published and has nothing else from that era.

I don't think that he has played in public since he married and moved down to Wirral from the North East over 40 years ago.

If you would like any more specific info send me a pm and I will forward it on to Alan.
