Havn't visited the forum for a few days but had no problem logging on tonight, got on first time.
A bit worrying though if there have been problems.

Brian.

This is the third time I had to re-login and was required to fill in characters from some sort of children's banner. What's the use of this?

Just registering that for the first time I've been told I've exceeded the max number of logins and was made to fill in numbers and letters into a box.

Hope this problem can be fixed.

It's happened to me 3 or 4 times during the past few days. Yet, at other times, I am allowed to just automaticlly log in as per normal.

Rob  :?:

This may prove to be the case here, I have just logged out and tried to log in using a members name on here ( not my own), now if I continue to try to log in under their name when they try to log in it will throw up the logged in to many times message !!!.............So have we some silly pratt trying to disrupt this site...........I am no computer expert but I do have the knack of weeding people out...............Like at the moment I am doing checks on ISP numbers and members........It's throwing up very interesting results !!!!!!!!!!!......... :D

Logging in as someone else ! sounds a bit MI6 or could be construed as Identity theft ? some members might use their user names and passwords to access
other sites ? does that mean Derek you can log in to other sites as some members and not yourself just because you have access to their ISP's and passwords ?
surely that cant be right. As in your own quote above "Very Interesting results" as a moderator of this site is it ethical for you to log in as someone else ?
Please tell me I have misunderstood your message.

I think I smell the early stages of paranoia.

One has to trust that if Bob/Derek are doing what they are doing it is for the benefit of all members.

I too have had to login with the banner code, so what, rather that than allow spammers onto our site.
A very small inconvenience considering the alternative.
