Who has the commercial-picture of The Shads

Who has the commercial-picture from many years ago of the Shadows( or was it just Hank alone, I'm not sure) bieng young ladds and wandering through the streets and stopping by a Guitarshop, and want to share it with me. Love to see that again

I think you are referring to the video advert for the 1983 double-LP "The Shadows' Silver Album".

Part of the same video was used on Australian TV for a different Shads album (probably "Twenty Golden Greats vol. 2").

Watching that advert again all these years later, I see that not only does the boy with glasses look a bit like Hank (though to be fair, it's the glasses doing half of the work), but the second boy was cast to look like a young Bruce:

What I reconaised was the boy with the glasses looked indeed like Hank ( Perhaps it was Ben??!! ) I didn,t reconaised the boy who played Bruce though

Nice, after all, it`s not everyday you can see and enjoy Hank playing a sunburst Strat.
But why, put a 70`s Strat for display in the imaginary "Melodyland" music shop window? A theme for a Art-director`s dream ?

I still have the blue satin 'Shadows Crew' jacket that is sported by Cliff in the ad.

There's something odd about that Tellydisc advert (the YouTube link I posted above).

When it was shown in the Thames TV / LWT region on release in 1983, the address you had to write to (or telephone) to get the album was definitely in Liverpool - it was in Canning Place, if I remember correctly, and had an 051 telephone number.

But the version linked above asks punters to contact a distribution centre in Nartch.
