Very sad news. I had the privilege to meet Jet several times and also play together with him in Sweden in the late 80s.

Not only a great bass player but a great bass-line innovator. A true gent who was never too busy to chat.

Sadness is too small a word to describe the loss.

My thoughts and condolences go out to Jet's nearest and dearest.

This is sad, sad news. A real character with a terrific sense of humour as well as an innovative and talented musician. He'll be greatly missed by all who loved him.

I have had the pleasure of meeting with Jet about six or seven times and managed to sign my copy of his latest album and witness another one of his great performances on stage. RIP Jet, you will be greatly missed.

It's not very often I'm moved to write about a guy but Robbo's message shook me to the core. We all were The Young Ones when Jet was with us in the '60''s. My deepest condolences to Jet's family--so very sad and Jet will be sorely missed.
