Warwick Shadows Tribute To Jet

Postby Amanda » 21 Mar 2011, 16:52

Hi All,

Yesterdays "Warwick Shadows" meeting turned into a great tribute to Jet, with a minutes silence and
a reading from "The Shadows Story" about Jet, then we were treated to a set of Early Shads tunes that Jet was on.

All in all a nice tribute to Jet..

Thanks Guys!!

A nice tribute,Amanda,we at the N.I Shadows club had our 2nd birthday party on Friday evening and opened with three of Jet's numbers as a tribute,- the least we could do in appreciation of a great man.

At a general jam in Rochester on Sunday, I played Diamonds (complete with Dick Emery's drum solo), Nivram (with a nice bass solo from Les Miserable) and Apache. I used my sunburst Jagmaster in an effort to suggest Jet's Jaguar.

It all seemed to go down well.
