SO, this is to tell you that I have posted the BALDWIN 12 string neck to you this afternoon (Friday 25/3) by Australia Post. Have fun with it!

Thank you so much- I am trembling with anticipation!

I can start fiddling about with it immediately it arrives!- maybe whip the neck off my old $150 pawnshop Strat copy (after about 14 years of hard use gigging, jamming etc the frets and neck are pretty worn out) and see if the Baldwin neck fits!

I'll see if I can get a suitable nut organised with the Rickenbacker type string slots (heavy strings 'on top')

Won't be a straight fit to a Strat mate -remember these were set neck guitars, so you will have a bit of mucking around to do, you'll need to add some wood to replace the 'machined part' - can be done though. I think the scale may be different to a Strat as well. As for the Rick nut, I have two Rick 12 nuts here, and I was going to send one with it but it is a lot thinner than the BALDWIN and wouldn't suit, sorry about that.

I think I did tell you the finish has cracked with age (polyurethane) shouldn't be a hard job though. Can we expect to hear the lead solo from "On The Beach' from you some time soon?
