waffles wrote:The main problem with the release of the tracks was that they were never properly mixed or,indeed, finished.
The company who released them were sent rough monitor mixes intended as a sales pitch by Coombe Music.
They chose to release those which was both frustrating and annoying.
Samba Pa Ti was not one of my tracks. Nut Rocker was our 20th track, this was not on the released album as
it was never given a rough mix.
Two years ago,I transferred all the tracks to my new studio.
Mark and I intend to finally finish this project sometime before 2034!

Warren

Well, if I take after my mother in the long life thingy I should just about get to hear this project
I'll be old age pension + 20 years by then  Although, the way things are going I could still be working then, still to get my pension :o

Mind you, it will be interesting to see how many of us are still signing in here at that time, and how many of us are still purchasing guitars 8-)
And still playing Shads music :geek:

Mark (and Warren)

That is an album by Paul Keogh, ("From the guitar man, with love" I think) reissued anonymously as "Romancing the hits, vol. 1" on PMF in 1994. Unless BB or WB played on it, I guess it's a mixup...

Warren,
Could you please 'pull out all stops' and aim for a little earlier than 2034.
If I'm still walking on this earth, I'll be 89 and I'm sure my now failing hearing will probably have failed completely!
Seriously though, I'm really looking forward to these tracks 'officially' seeing the light of day.
Cheers from 'downunder',

Hi Dick,

Yes, it's a great album. I bought it second hand a few years ago on the net. You might find one here, if the language barrier doesn't stop you : http://www.priceminister.com/offer/buy/ ... Album.html

Otherwise, send me a PM, I'll see how I can help.
