Great fun but why won't it let me change the body hardware to gold (it does with the tuners)?

Yes, Tony, I got frustrated after a little while. I wanted to change the body shape to a Jaguar or Telecaster but couldn't find a way.

A great novelty nonetheless!!

It is cool, and it is fun, but it's too bad that it lacks some simple and practical features. For example, the option of changing the body to other Fender guitars: Tele, Jazzmaster, etc. and also, the option of choosing pre-defined Fender colors. The gold harware is also a minus. It is a nice toy, but that's all it is, because its practical use is rather limited, which is a shame, especially since it's on the Fender website.

I saw a similar "guitar builder" somewhere in a guitar parts website like Warmoth or something like that, where you could really change almost every aspect of a guitar, and that was very, very helpful.

Your wish is my command...

Jaguars and Jazzmasters (inc. gold hardware if that's what you want) to your heart's content.

That's brilliant, Jim and I've just designed my "dream" Jaguar (makes a change from a Strat).

Now, tell me where I can get it built for my sub £100 budget :)

Cheers.
