J'ai déjà fait cette traduction, je te l'ai envoyée.

I am not a JW so I googled the question about a JW's attendance of funerals and weddings etc and came up with this answer http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_Jehovah's ... _in_church

I must confess to assuming this was the reason before posting but just clarification that i was not alone in my thoughts.
Surely to god (sorry...Jehovah!) a tribute would have been in order.

Has HBM ever thought of releasing an instrumental version of 'All along the Watchtower'

Thanks for that write up, Rob.

Obviously the temptation to just turn up was pretty strong, but I decided against it in the end. Glad that he had a good send off. As I knew that the funeral was to start at roughly 2.45, I decided to pay my own private respects by listening to the original Shadows album and The Shadows Greatest Hits. Took me until about four o'clock and was a very reflective hour or so.

Next time I visit Basingstoke, hopefully sometime this year, I shall pause to reflect upon the fact that it was to here that Jet made his final journey.

All the best.

Chris.

I was thinking the same. I have'nt seen,or heard, any comments at all from Hank regarding the passing of Jet. I wonder why?
Seems strange.

I was hoping that this wouldn't come up. I believe that as Hank is a Jehovah's witness, he does not attend events like this. Perhaps a tribute from Hank after Jet's passing would have prevented speculation about his absence.

No Cliff either? he's not a JW.

There was a small article in the Sun about Jet's funeral service but they seemed more interested in asking why Cliff wasn't there.

Thanks a lot Rob for writing this. Once again, your detailed write up has given us the privilege to somehow feel as if we were there.

Best regards,
Ramon.

Sorry Pedro
It might be humorous to some but I don't think that is in good taste!

I believe Cliff is in America making an album. Recording started in Memphis on Friday.
