May I draw the attention of all members to the fact that, by default, the message board software logs all dates and times, IP addresses and other details with respect to posters. It does this in order that administrators can determine false posters, multiple registrations and other misdemeanors.
As I previously intimated, there is an add-on which alerts the administrator if there is a suspect username or poster. I have installed this add-on and am keeping a close eye on the reports it sends me.
I am aware that IP addresses in the UK can be very misleading since the vast majority of users use DHCP and two genuinely unconnected people can have the same IP address on successive days (this has happened quite frequently particularly with AOL customers) but there are other clues which can be used to determine these false posters.
Members who are abusing the system might like to stop doing so because they are likely to be restricted very soon if they don't.
Bob.
