Will hang out for the Blu Ray version

I think you'll have a long wait. I'm pretty sure they've said that there isn't going to be a Blu-Ray version.

I hope you're correct about the DVD, Jim.

Like I said, it would be stupid of them to limit sales of this to Europe. However, the DVD is yet to be listed on http://www.amazon.com here in states. We'll keep an eye on this as the release date approaches.

I can't wait for the HD versions like I did with the "Stratpack" so ordered when first listed - will just have to have two versions should the Blu-ray come out later!

Don't you believe it, it will happen sooner or later, and I am eagerly awaiting the HD version of the 2004 Shadows farewell tour. That exists in HD form as I have seen it

Steve

The Shadows' 2004 Final Tour was shot in HD, but not released in Blu-Ray. The 50th anniversary Cliff & Shads concert filmed at the 02 was certainly also shot in HD, but there are no plans for a release in Blu-Ray...

From a marketing point of view I'm sure that there would be quite a large number of people interested in a "double pack". Have two blu-ray discs - The Shadows Final Tour plus The Farewell Reunion tour.

Cliff's fans far outnumberThe Shadows fans and I'm sure that the "double pack" version might sell in largish numbers - who can tell?

The Blu-Ray Double Feature Box Set of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code plus Angels & Demons has just been issued in this manner - I know that this isn't in the same league - but it's an example.

I know realistically that it's unlikely to happen but if marketed right it might just work!
