Excellent news! Mo's 17 Watts is the funniest book I have ever read, in addition to being very informative. I expect some of the stories will have carried over to this new book, but no matter. Really looking forward to reading it.

Thanks Phil!

I agree - "17 Watts" is a fantastic book. I went on to buy "A Blues For Shindig" but was very disappointed with that.

It looks like this latest one will be a great read.

Perhaps it is a re-release of 17 Watts? with a few updates?

The description of the book on the Northumbria University Press site does suggest strong similarities with 17 Watts but a recasting of that original view will be welcome in any case.

Mo has expanded his original work via numerous extra interviews and anecdotes, which should guarantee an even more entertaining read that's well worth the dosh. The book launch is scheduled for September 13th, with The Rapiers in attendance, and hopefully more than a few of those artists included within the pages will find the time to turn up.

My copy now on pre-order with Sainsburys - £12.99.
I noticed that Play.com have "Play Like Elvis" (the USA release of "17 Watts" on sale in paperback at just £6.68 .

I got a used copy of "Play Like Elvis" from Amazon for about 1p. Even with the postage it was a real bargain.
I often buy used books from them - so cheap and often in really good condition. I too have pre-ordered Mo's book from Sainsburys, can't wait for it to become "used"!
