Many happy returns to Kim.

Sorry I won't be there for the celebrations and the music.

Hope that you raise the roof (and lots of money)

Thanks Ron and Paul for your good wishes, also the local Shadsfans who came out to hear our take on some of The Shadows better known (and a few of the less known) numbers last night in Warsop.
We always enjoy our trip to The Tudor Barn - an impressive old edifice in it's own right, it really IS a restored Tudor Barn! - and to be able to assist in putting over two hundred quid into the coffers of the Warsop Hospice was indeed a pleasure!
We're now having a short "lay-off" from our Band activities for a few weeks. Lottie needs to "settle in" at Huddersfield Uni, Lorna's taking Dave to Dublin to enjoy a few "proper" Guinesses (??Guinni??) and pay homage at the Phil Lynott memorial, and me and Marg are off to sunny Spain for a short while. Pete and Kim? - well, if they've got any sense (and I'm SURE they have!) they'll start the transition into enjoying the peace and quiet (and freedom!!) of having their house to themselves!
We're back in harness (Bandwise, anyway) mid-October to gird up our loins ready for some more gigs in December.
Best regards
Paul.
