In any situation like this there is a fine line to be drawn between fair and honest criticism and abuse for the sake of abuse. Anyone who charges money for a product that does not do what it says on the tin deserves to be taken to task. If this band are not up to it, then others deserve to be warned.
But so far, we have had three people who say they have seen them and they are not very good. Three people.
You could go to any show, football match etc and find three people who will tell you what they saw was crap, while you thought the event was world class. That is human nature. I have been to countless shows over the years and then read reviews in the press afterwards and wondered if I was at the same event.
There is also the issue of right to reply. One of the big dangers of the internet is that folk think they can say what they like without any risk of comeback. That is not the case. In this instance, what has appeared here so far could damage the earnings potential of this band and they have not had the chance to defend or explain themselves.
Like I said, there is a fine line between fair criticism and those who may bear this band a grudge (for whatever reason) and are using this forum as an outlet for that ill-feeling.

With respect, they explained themselves clearly on the demo video and it doesn't take Tony Hatch to see that they don't play in time or with much accuracy. ;)
I have no axe to grind but opinions were being offered and that is mine. They wouldn't last a night at any club around these parts, the standard of acts on offer is way out of their league.

I agree that to criticise a band out of hand is wrong, however if you post videos or any link on a website you open yourself up to criticism, and as a former member of a Shadows tribute band I know from first hand experience how different people see the show, or your videos.
I do believe that The Shadows music is so exacting and we as Shadows fans are "uber critical" that any band who gets on stage and plays Shadows music is likely to be scrutinised more closely than any other band I know. Hence the sort of thing that has been said.
If you are going to be a "tribute band" then there is a need to represent the original band as accurately as possible.

Hi Ron
perhaps they are including
Geronimo Which was a number 1 In Italy 1963
or
Theme from The deer hunter number 1 in Holland 1979
but then it makes 7 not 6 no 1 singles in europe.

or Hank Marvins Sacha number 1 in Australia 1981?
