Only Barry Gibson knows the answer and he isn't saying. Presumably this is for contractual reasons. Barry has been sworn to secrecy. Maybe sometime in the future he'll be allowed to say who it was??

Who is to say that the 'mystery guest' is anything to do with the Shadows at all? As far as I know, Bruce, or indeed Brian... are not tied to any 'contracts' or record company. They can 'guest' on anything at their own discretion as far as I am aware...
All we know, thanks (once again) to Rob, is said 'mystery guest' can't be named due to contractual/record company reasons. Hmmmm....
Possibly Hank... I suppose... but maybe Eric Clapton (you never know!)? Mark Knopfler? Brian May? Dave Gilmour?
Who knows? You can only guess... maybe the 'mystery guest' isn't necessarily specifically a lead guitarist? Drummer? Bass player?... etc...
It certainly is a mystery!

Barry's lips are sealed....so he must have a good reason for not divulging the identity of his 'mystery guest'. He hasn't said whether whoever it was played lead, rhythm, bass, keyboards or drums!! I'm sure there wouldn't have been a problem in saying whether or not it was Brian or Bruce....so I think that we can safely rule them out. Hans.....no mystery about the lead guitarist....it's Barry Gibson himself. Of course....that's not to say that his mystery guest might have played lead on one or two tracks (???). I can promise you that no - one involved with this project has given any clues or hints at all.
