Jet Harris Memorial Fund event by the Tremors

Only a few days away now, so I would like to bring this to the top - we now know the entry price - £4 at the door, and that includes the buffet! (not ALL of it!)

On Saturday 3rd December at 7:30, at the Bay Tree restaurant and cafe, Totnes Road, Paignton, Devon....The Tremors will be playing a selection of live music as a tribute to Jet, and to benefit the JET HARRIS MEMORIAL FUND in our own small way.

Hi Guys,
Brilliant! So good of you to organise a gig and donate any funds raised to the Jet Harris Memorial Fund. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Speaking as one of the small band of volunteers helping to run the J H M fund - this is exactly the kind of thing that we need. It's the kind of thing I hoped would start to happen. What more fitting way to raise money....having fun (hard work too I know), making music and keeping Jet's memory / legacy alive whilst doing so. There are so many fantastic musicians on this site who use their talents to raise money for various charities - so thanks to all of you. I wish you every success with the evening. Probably too far for me to travel down to.....but I'll be thinking about you all on the night. Thanks again for all of your efforts.

A bit more information for anyone who can come, and/or help publicise the evening - the entry fee is just £4 - that includes a buffet laid on by Thelma and Paula at the Bay Tree.
We hope to have Alison and Mike, from a local band, along to sing some songs as well.

Thank you for your good wishes Audrey, Rob, Des and Steve - and a big thank you to the lovely people who came along on Saturday. Our guests, Alison and Mike sang really well for their set in the middle of the evening and The Tremors enjoyed being the acoustic backing for just the one song with Alison on "Make You Feel My Love" - a much appreciated break from all our twanging, before and after!
A sad & happy event, during our valiant attempt at Theme For Something Really Important I recalled Jet's powerful playing of Duane's tune at Shadowmanias gone by.
Tom, Malcolm and myself feel honoured to have made a small contribution, and really recommend anyone thinking of doing something similar to go ahead - we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are told that happily the generous members of the audience did too!
For a small event at a small (but very nice)venue, the Bay Tree, these music lovers did very well to help raise £215 for the Jet Harris Memorial Fund.
