I clearly remember seeing this eition of SNATLP and still have an audio-recording of it.

Thanks for the links - I wonder whether ITV plc (who own the ATV archive via Central TV and Carlton Television) ae thinking of issuing a DVD?

JN

PS: This is the first time I have seen the video so haven't seen (as opposed to hearing) that performance of The Warlord since late 1965. But the memory of seeing Bruce play that chord sequence - one chord per beat in waltz-time - had stayed with me. The sheet music conveyed the information that there were ninths, elevenths and demolished eighteenths in the rhythm guitar part.

Are these clips on that DVD Bernie? I notice that there two volumes, do you have them and are they worth being added to Santa's list? :D

Alan & Jim - I think well worth putting on the Christmas list. Theres also a colour episode with The Seekers, but don't let that put you off ;-) I'd been after that clip of the Warlord for ages having seen it at Shadowmania. And the medley with Cliff is pretty good too. Thanks to Jim Walters who tipped me off about this DVD!

I remember this broadcast well - great to see it again. I'm inspired to try and learn the chords again once and for all! It's interesting to be reminded of Bruce's short strap "right armpit tuck" of that period, as distinct from his longer strap adjustment of more recent times.
