There was video on YouTube last year, very briefly, of Cliff and the Shadows (the Licorice line-up) performing Do You Wanna Dance for the Ed Sullivan show, recorded in London by (I think) ATV. However, it has vanished.

Does anyone have it or can anyone point me to it?

Heres another One with licorice on bass
i thinks its the london palladium rvp 1962/63
but shows licorice on bass.

The bill also included John(ny) Dankworth's big band playing African Waltz.

The Royal Variety Performance (or Royal Command Performance) at the London Palladium featured four tracks:
The Shadows:
1. Wonderful Land.
Cliff Richard & The Shadows:
2. The Young Ones.
3. I'm On My Way.
4. Do You Wanna Dance.

Tracks 2 and 4 were officially released on the 1994 VHS video "The Hit List". Does anyone remember the original recording date for this performance? I once spotted a date of October 29th, 1962, but I also saw another one of April, 1962.

This may seem to be splitting hairs, somewhat, but at the end of a Command performance spot aren't artists supposed to first bow towards the Royal box, rather than directly ahead, as it appears in the clip?

Can't argue with that evidence. According to Wikipedia (!), many of the shows in succeeding years were staged in November!
