Hi, Tim. I am really glad you posted this article. Besides the fact that is has unified us about something (the lack of Hank's name being on the list), it has opened up a conversation where we are sharing the names of other talented guitar players. I have learned a lot. For example, dave mentioned the great Australian guitarist, Tommy Emmanuel (and another friend on this list mentioned Tommy to me as well). I have just ordered a couple of Tommy's albums, including his new CD called, "All I Want For Christmas."

If anyone is so inclined, please take a look at this video and hear how beautiful Tommy's guitar music is. The YouTube description says, "John Knowles and Tommy Emmanuel perform "White Christmas" from their forthcoming Christmas album. This was recorded at the 6th Annual Chet Atkins Tribute Concert in Franklin, Tennessee on July 12, 2011."
Thank you, Tim.
Best wishes,
Donna
