In that case Iain, I will play all of the right notes, but not necessarilly in .....etc, etc !! Any way, I'll just put some chalk marks on the fretboard with quite big numbers on...... never fails, except if you write them the wrong way up, it's a bit difficult to follow them in the twiddley bits!!

Exits left, all huffy and stuff, wishing he'd never mentioned Eb.... however, Gb, that's a great key for 'Wonderful Land'...

Hi everyone who was at Warwick today. What a great day Not just because of the raffle, lucky me.
It was good to have a keyboard player, many thanks to John.
Good to see old friends and make new ones.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all.
Take care

Iain P told me that 'Please Don't Tease' was in D. I sang it in Ab, Bb and Eb at various random points..

My guitar playing is as dubious- I don't play in any particular key if it sounds right it normally means it is right or more likely it is not me playing. :o

The annoying thing is I sound great at home!! :D

Great to have been able to get to Warwick again after too long a break! Thanks to Iain P & Ron Innes for providing the back-up to 'Winter Wonderland' (in Eb!!!) without a rehearsal folks (!), and to John Woodward, Iain and Ron again providing a very cultured rhythm section for my 'live band' spot. Great to see and chat with so many good friends again, and that Video was a hoot!!.... I'll never be able to look at Ian and Joy again without smirking! Best wishes to everyone at the club- have a great Xmas!!

Sorry for the delay but I have caught that bug and spent most of Monday under the duvet feeling very sorry myself.
Yes it was a fantastic afternoon, with highlights in both the music and food departments. Beer was not bad either.
As always it was a pleasure to provide part of the "backing band" for the solo artists and will do similar in Feb.
A very merry Christmas to one and all and may the new year bring us all a bit of cheer.
