Thank you all for your comforting messages,

I pray that none of you, or nobody for that matter has to go one day through this solution as the cervical spine controls
the rest of the body.
It seems though that all the vital organs have been spared thank God.

This episode follows an ever more devastating one with the passing of my dear mom last October where I went to Algiers already in pain from my neck.
It was an extremely sad episode for me to loose my mom even though she was 99, but the longer they last, and the harder it is to part with them.

Currently, I spend my time watching TV especially the Documentaries on Lions etc in the Serengheti, and the newly published and famous French "Apocalypse" DVDs on WWII that Didier and Gilbert kindly got me at my last trip to Algiers via Paris in 2009.

I'll keep you posted on my progress.
For now I am anxiously spying through the window for the Postman who is to deliver my guitar.

Blessings,
Abel

Dear all,

After the 3rd week, I am feeling much better (and even playing on my new Gitano).
I went through a bad episode last week when I was rushed to the hospital as I couldn't catch my breath.
It was due to the pain medication. I haven't taken any since as the pain subsided considerably and continues
to subside every day.

Merry Christmas to you all,
Abel
