Hi I had another great vist to the North notts club on sunday, It was a great afternoon with some great playing. .Thanks to you all for making me so welcome and for my birthday wishes. .as all ways here is a video of my playing, with Jimbo on drums sorry not sure who was playing rythum and Alan Jones on bass.... Hello Peter,
I had meant to be at Whitwell last Sunday, but family matters intervened! We haven't met (yet), but I've followed your postings with interest and like most of us "golden oldies" on here am really pleased to know of a "youngster" playing the music of The Shads - keep up the good work!!
I'd hazard a guess that the Rhythm Guitar player you played-with was my "Kid Brother" - also called Peter. Was he strumming a Burns?
Jimbo on Drums and Alan J on Bass - wow - it took me over 50 years to get to play with such class acts!
Looking forward to meeting you some time in the New Year.

PS.....for Jimbo .....I know that you're highly skilled on both Guitar AND Drums, but - surely - you enjoyed playing WITH Peter, rather than just FOR him? (Sorry for being an over-sensitive Drummer in a Guitarists World!)

Hi I have been asked by a member to take the video of peter off here,so the link will no longer work.. Peter is very dissapointed at this as he was playing with Alan Jones which is quite a big thing for a 12 year old. thanks for the support that you show Peter, im sure there will be more videos to come in the new...all the best Elsena (peters mum)
