PSP 608 echo help needed

Postby Detailed Infinity » 23 Dec 2011, 18:48

Hi each, I've lost my PSP 608 patch preset d/load from Echotapper.

The patch has a .psp file extension and the d/load has a .psb file extension and consequently won't load into the 608's preset bank.

I contacted Piet however he told me to do what I'd already tried e.g. rename the extension as being .psp. No deal, so it anyone Bo, Eric etc has the loadable preset can they please post it on here as an attachement please? I'll then d/load a workable .psp file.

Regards

Bri

Still has the .psb file extension Bo. Does it work for you (loading it in your pre-sets) & if it does talk me through it if you will?

I'm afraid not Eric. The file Bo sent was the same as Piet's ie with an .psb extension which is how the Echotapper site offers it. It has to have a .psp extension to load the pre-set bank.

It must show a .psp extension in the property's tab as you know.

Hi Brian, I've just been refreshing myself with PSP within Adobe Audition.
If I download the PSB bank from Echotapper I then put that into PSP 608 as a bank and then call up whichever preset I want from that bank.
No problems.
What are you trying to do ?
Happy Christmas.

Ah I get it Eric. PSBank (.psb). Thanks--I've been trying the green floppy disc icon next to the PRESET tablature. This asks for a .psp patch.

It's now late Eric, I'll load it as a BANK file..

Thanks to you and Bo for your collective help.

Hope your new home rings with happiness and joy

Piet has no ammended his page on the Echotapper website with a more pictorial instructive detail of loading the .psb patch. Any newcomers to the site would have no problem gettin gthe bank loaded.

It really is a good piece of kit with this bank loaded.

Perhaps you can now understand why I got my knickersw in a twist. My version of the PSP608 is a number of years old and I was running the previous .psp patches. From Piet's new screen shots the positions have changed on the bottom toolbar. I now have no probs as you can see. Copicat is loaded into the bank along with the others

Thanks for yuor help each

Bri.
