This is a beauty- a recent news item here in Oz....(a 'saltie' is Oz slang for the saltwater croc BTW..we also have freshwater crocs too...)
Note that the croc wrestler who turned up was NOT a male....NEVER mess with Aussie women!
I couldn't get the accompanying photo to copy, but the guitar was a nylon string classical model- I would have grabbed my Squier Tele meself if I'd been in this situation...(and yes, I can hear some folk saying that is all it would be good for.....)

A DARWIN dad armed himself with his guitar to fend off a nearly 2m-long crocodile that walked into his family's lounge room.
The smooth-scaled saltie is suspected of having escaped from the nearby Darwin Crocodile Farm and wandered into the Bees Creek Rd home in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It comes after neighbours complained that 15 crocodiles suspected of escaping from Darwin Crocodile Farm had turned up on their property in the past five years.
Micko Srbinovska, 42, was woken by his wife Jo Dodd, who found the 1.7m saltie in the lounge room just 3m from their bedroom door about 5.30 on Saturday morning.
"I opened the sliding door and saw the crocodile right outside the door. It is pretty full-on when there is a crocodile in your lounge room - I nearly died."
Mr Srbinovska pulled on some trousers grabbed the closest item of defence, his guitar, and edged out of the bedroom across the lounge room towards the phone. He then called the Crocodile Management Unit.
Crocodile catcher Dani Best showed up and wrestled the crocodile into submission.
Ms Dodd described Ms Best as "awesome."
"She just jumped on top of it (and) taped up its snout, back and front legs."
The crocodile was taken back to its farm.
