The Rosetti brand was used in UK only, elsewhere these guitars (made in Holland) were sold under the "Egmond" brand. Abel's first guitar looks very much like an Egmond Lucky 7 :

That's it, Thanks Didier.

I had no recollection of the name Rosetti. I remember now the name Egmond. It was written on the tip of the
headstock.
I also remember the guitar to be very heavy.

Blessings,

Yep, I too began on a Lucky 7 (Rosetti in my case). Dreadful action. Everything Hank said about the Antoria applied to this as well. I remember a friend and myself 'entertaining' our parents at a party with Geronimo on two Lucky 7s. If Jane Austen had been present she'd definitely have said "You have delighted us long enough"...

So Eric,

As you can see, FENDERs / Echoes and VOXes were never an option we could approach or afford until
I fulfilled it for myself ... 48 years later.

Oh! no regrets, we had plenty of fun and we entertained quite a lot with what little we had (they didn't know better, ha!).

Blessings,
Abel
