If I remember correctly, the "Cliff 'Live' In Japan '72" double album also features a black and white booklet with pictures of the performances, with one or two of Marvin & Farrar's performance. It shows Trevor Spencer behind the drums, not Brian Bennett as is claimed on the back of the sleeve.

During the shows there also was a 20-minute solo-spot for Olivia Newton-John. My guess is The Brian Bennett Band took care of the backing. Does anyone know for sure? Also, is there any information available of which track was recorded on which of the two dates listed?

From the German Cliff & Shadows club mag I have the same line-ups as you with the addition of Alan Hawkshaw on keyboards for all sets.

ONJ was backed by the Brian Bennett Band.

The picture you are referring to should be this one which clearly shows Alan Tarney on bass guitar and Trevor Spencer on drums, but I don't know whether it was taken at one of the concerts in Japan. (Sorry about the size but this leaves the details visible.)

Yes, that's exactly the picture I was referring to. About Alan Hawkshaw's connection to Marvin & Farrar's set, I haven't detected a piano and/or organ on any of their tracks.
