I saw these guitars (and the players) on stage in April 1967 at Spellson's nightclub in Sydney - a few years later they (the BALDWIN guitars) became the subject of written correspondence between Dusty Fretz and myself (no emails back then) when he was launching his now classic 'The Burns Book' notably concerning the one piece scratchplate. I think this clip is from TCN 9 Sydney TV,'Australian Bandstand'.
You may have also noticed that these guitars have 4 knobs, in the absence of a visible toggle switch I have always assumed that one of these was a rotary switch for pickup selection as in the early 'Bison' and various other Burns guitars.

If I'm not mistaken, John Rostill is playing the original Burns bass. Perhaps the Baldwin people behind the 'protoypes' hadn't got round to doing a bass yet!
