Nivram Studio

Prior to Hank's move to Western Australia, the Nivram recording studio was based in Hertfordshire and is indicated, with Brian's home Honeyhill studio in Radlett, as the location for the majority of the post-EMI, Polydor recordings during the early 80s period. Does anyone know the studio's exact whereabouts at that time, possibly Totteridge/Woodside Park, where I know Hank lived in the 60s?

I think I'm right in saying that prior to Hank's move to Australia, he was living quite close to Brian's home in Radlett, in fact it was up to the top of Brian's road & turn left, & the house was a few yards on the right. This could have been where Nivram studios were.
The Radlett house that Honeyhill studios was built was previously owned by Hank who sold it to Brian, & Hank then moved up round the corner.

I'm not sure you are right with what you say but I may be wrong. Brian did buy Hank's house in the mid 60's but that was 64 Lullington Garth Finchley. I am not aware of him buying another house that belonged to Hank but I stand to be corrected. Also of note is the fact that John Farrar bought John Rostill's house after he died.

Following George Geddes' post with the link to Malcolm Campbell's site, I'm tempted to invest in a copy of his book detailing the Polydor period from 1980. Who knows, the answer to my query could well lie within!
