Don't suppose Tony Hicks, John McNally,Kieth Potger or Pete Peanut Langford to name four out of a few thousand exelent guitarists would be recognised either??? Although I dont get why Kieth Richards is in there!! Half the time he dosn't know where he is never mind what hes playing.

He's an upstart of the highest calibre, Ec. You and he would get on well.

Matt's a great musician and superb player of Devil's Advocate, if I remember rightly. I believe he also has to answer to Martcaster Senior, the funny looking one at the back in Legend.

I think The Shadows get mentioned on Radio 2 quite often: on Friday's Ken Bruce Show, former Marmalade band member, Junior Campbell chose Wonderful Land in his 'Tracks of My Years' selection (I've heard a few Shadows' numbers played in this section) and on Sunday's Wogan show, Chris Isaak named The Shadows as an influence. I quite often hear Shads' numbers on the radio. Also, I'd be surprised if Hank Marvin or The Shadows wasn't mentioned somewhere in each issue of Guitarist magazine.
