Don't suppose Tony Hicks, John McNally,Kieth Potger or Pete Peanut Langford to name four out of a few thousand exelent guitarists would be recognised either??? Although I dont get why Kieth Richards is in there!! Half the time he dosn't know where he is never mind what hes playing. :P

Who's Matt, Malc ?

He's an upstart of the highest calibre, Ec. You and he would get on well.

Matt's a great musician and superb player of Devil's Advocate, if I remember rightly. I believe he also has to answer to Martcaster Senior, the funny looking one at the back in Legend. ;)

I think The Shadows get mentioned on Radio 2 quite often: on Friday's Ken Bruce Show, former Marmalade band member, Junior Campbell chose Wonderful Land in his 'Tracks of My Years' selection (I've heard a few Shadows' numbers played in this section) and on Sunday's Wogan show, Chris Isaak named The Shadows as an influence. I quite often hear Shads' numbers on the radio. Also, I'd be surprised if Hank Marvin or The Shadows wasn't mentioned somewhere in each issue of Guitarist magazine.

Martin.
