What has happened to pensions is the most disgusting stunt ever pulled by government.
My pension is worth 1/3 of what it was projected to 25 years ago.
Gordon bloody Brown for starters.

couldn't agree more

...... and that's coming from someone who has 20 years... No hang on ... wait.... didn't retirement age go up to 67 ???? ...... make that 22 years grafting to go. It makes me sick the amount of money which goes into pension pots for fat cat financial advisors / pension administrators / etc to take their cut of .... annual management fees .... arrangement fees .... commissions ....... over the last 12 months, my net pension value has increased by 75% of what has been paid into it over the same 12 month period so for every £100 paid in only £75 of it remains in my pension ......... so where's the other 25% ????? and then lets talk about growth shall we???????? Oh and then at the end I'll "buy" an annuity which will probably barely keep me in plectrums ........

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rant over

Hi All

Most legal documents used by insurance and pensions end with the words Terms and Conditions may be alter by the company at any time!
Basically meaning that any thing mentioned in the early part of the document is

A LOAD OF BALL--K S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As Ecca usually says Hang em

I should have kept the money under the bed.
I tell my kids, don't trust politicians, insurance companies, banks, any of em.
They're all legalised crooks that will help themselves to your money ,which in my book is theft.

Too true, Ecca.
Took out Building Society ISA thingy to pay off Mortgage. Their "forecast" at Day 1 was to make enough for that and maybe, just maybe a nice Cakeocaster replica. 8-)
Forecast with 2 years to go was that it would miss the target by up to 50% and I should now pay in literally £00's of pounds to get it to balance.
Bollocks to that!! If I'd have performed that badly at work, I'd have been sacked for being useless!!!!
In the end, the amount of money I got out of it was less than 1% profit. I SHOULD have kept it under the bed!!!!
cheers
