Is it just me or is this line a bit disrespectful to Brian Bennett?

Disrespect to Brian Bennett? No way! Comment was simply to invite the reader to investigate further.

Here's a fair haired Jet Harris playing Bass with that other bloke (not Brian Bennett!) playing drums. ;)

Bill

That was an unusual and short-lived gear lineup in the b&w photo- the Antoria and TWO Framus models...

So it is. And Jet's hair again that strange colour. Perhaps even in those seemingly innocent times the image-makers were already calling the shots "the bass player must use a specific instrument, wear a specific shirt and have a specific hair colour"

Maybe those particular shirts were on special at the time - I don't think that Jet and Liquorice were of the same build physically! ;)

Regarding that shirt- I understand that there was a shop called Millett's in London at that time which sold these- Lonnie Donegan wore them too.
They were a bit trendy with some chaps at the time, worn with jeans...sort of rugged outdoors American look...
